The AAC fundamentals coaching program is a group program delivered over 10 weeks. It supports SLP's who are new to AAC or are moving into further AAC service delivery with the foundation skills in assessment, intervention and evaluation of their AAC practice.
This program combines facilitator delivered content with group clinical reflection and problem-solving to ensure that clinicians can embed their learning into their current practice.
The AAC Fundamentals Coaching program
The AAC fundamentals program consists of 10 hour long sessions over a a term (10 weeks).

What does AAC assessment look like - clinical interview and observation
What does AAC assessment look like - checklists and formal assessments
Functional goal setting
What does AAC intervention look like
Managing challenges engaging the client
Managing challenges engaging the family
Working with other stakeholders e.g., school, carers
