Tech Talker™ Parent / Support Worker Training

Small group comprehensive training over 6 sessions in AAC theory and implementation for individuals at all skill levels. Train multiple communication partners.  (8 hour capacity building funding required)

High Tech AAC

Experience in the range of AAC options and alternative access including eye-gaze technology, dedicated AAC equipment and iPad technology.

PODD

Experience in supporting PODD at all levels including alternative access PODDS.  

AAC Consultancy

We know that therapists do a great job with families that they support. We can provide consultation and support to assist find the best AAC solutions and support your current therapist

Clinical Supervision

We provide clinical supervision and training to Speech Pathologists

​Kirsty Holcombe is a Speech Pathologist who has a passion for working in partnership with families, services and support network to help them to understand and respond to individual's challenging behaviours.

In her over 20 years experience working with people with a disability Kirsty has helped families and services create change for people with disabilities with complex and serious challenging behaviours.  She believes in the strength of families and the need to work collaboratively in all areas of the person's life.

Kirsty knows that everyone is able to communicate and has experience in providing Augmentative and Alternative Communication strategies for people with Complex Communication needs.

Kirsty has work for government and non-government services in rural and remote Queensland and the Northern Territory and was Team Leader of an Evolve Behaviour Support Service.  She is currently based in Brisbane but is keen to help people in regional and remote locations through internet based therapy.

Dominic van Brunschot is a Speech Pathologist who has extensive experience working with people with a disability and their families.

​Dominic has worked in Early Intervention Disability settings, with adults with challenging behaviours and with children and young people.  
​
​Dominic has an interest in working with children with autism and other social disabilities who are reluctant interactors and communicators.  He also has a passion for working with teenagers and young adults to improve their social communication and understanding.

Wendy Webster is a Speech Pathologist who has a long history of assisting people with complex communication needs develop language through Augmentative and Alternative Communication methods (AAC).

Wendy has experience supporting individuals, their families and support networks in implementing AAC strategies including using PODD, speech generating devices, key word signing and other strategies.

Wendy is available to take referrals in the Brisbane North region.
